Façade
Silivri Belediyesi
Design approach
A contemporary and legible identity for an existing building
The façade was developed to create a more coherent and legible exterior while respecting the scale and public use of the existing building.
Material transitions, vertical and horizontal rhythm, and the emphasis on the entrance were considered together. Buildability remained a central criterion throughout the design, which was subsequently implemented on site.
